Jennifer (Jenn) Jakobi is an Associate Professor in Health and Exercise Sciences at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. Her work focusses on quantifying neural and musculoskeletal adaptations in the production and control of functional movement. Studies concentrate on how age-related physiological decline differs between men and women and how this contributes to greater functional deterioration in women compared with men. Dr. Jakobi will discuss frailty and present data from an exercise intervention of frail women.
